We're pleased to announce our involvement in a major public works project for Orange County, the Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center (ARTIC). The center is described as a mix between a transportation gateway and a mixed-use activity center, and it is located on 16 acres of land in Anaheim nearby to Angel Stadium and Disneyland. The location was chosen given its proximity to a hub of freeways, major city streets, bus lines and the network of commuter trains. It is expected that approximately 10,330 people will board buses and trains daily at the ARTIC upon its opening, and the massive project is expected to create around 5,000 jobs during and after construction. The team at Certified Enameling, Inc. is proud to be involved in a project that will have such a major impact on the local economy.

Our involvement in the ARTIC project is significant, with our team slated to apply architectural metal coatings to 85,000 square feet of surface panels and other features. We will be using our proprietary Cenamelize coating, which offers many of the same benefits as anodizing but with several advantages in terms of durability, easier maintenance, and repairability. Another major selling point for Cenamelize is the fact that it offers custom color match, with the possibility of using virtually any color available. For the ARTIC project, we have been asked to apply Cenamelize coatings in Steel City Silver, a light grey, metallic coating. The ARTIC project is slated for completion in the summer of this year, and we are working hard to get our part done on schedule.
